Putney has a good selection of pubs and bars. Although there’s a lack of nightclubs in Putney, that doesn’t mean that a good night out can’t be enjoyed in the area. There’s also a cinema and a community theatre for those seeking some culture.

Try the Toy Shop Bar for distinctive cocktails- our favourite is a Slinky Margarita, a twist on the original margarita, it contains bee-pollen infused tequila and grapefruit oils.
Their vegetarian menu also comes highly recommended.
Schools & Education
Parents and children have a mix of excellent state and private schools to choose from. Notable primary schools include All Saints, Our Lady of Victories, St Mary’s, Brandelhow, Hotham, Hurlingham and Prospect House.
Private secondary education in the area includes the highly sought after Putney High School for girls, Ibstock School and Kings College Wimbledon. St Pauls and the Harrodian schools are also within reach.
Getting around London from Putney is easy due to good transport links.
The mainline stations of Putney and Wandsworth Town have routes into London Waterloo and out towards Reading and Windsor, making it an ideal location to access both central London and the nearby counties.
