The biggest, well-known park in the area is of course Battersea Park, which provides locals with a beautiful green space to explore and a range of sporting facilities. The park features a large duck pond, a pagoda and various sculptures for visitors to admire. Just south of Battersea Park are a further three large parks to explore; Wandsworth Common, Clapham Common and King George’s Park.

There are plenty of shops located on Northcote road, from independents to higher end high street brands such as Jo Maman Bébé and Whistles. In fact, the area is so well known for its independent stores that the council has implemented a measure to protect the unique shops and distinctive character of Northcote Road.

Entertainment & Nightlife
There are a selection of evening venues in nearby Clapham, with a choice of independent or chain cocktail bars and various pubs. For a night out, the Clapham Grand near Clapham Junction is a refurbished Victorian music hall with a variety of weekly club events.

Previously known as The Loft, Dirty Martini opened in April and are famous for their trademark martinis. This venue is sure to attract anyone looking for a fun and lively night out, with regular DJ’s playing late into the night. Cocktail offers are run every night, with deals also on beer and wine for those who are not a fan of cocktails. Sharing platters and bar snacks are also available.
Schools & Education
This part of South West London is well known for the quality and choice of education available to families. Honeywell Primary School and Belleville Primary School offer fantastic primary education options. Newton Prep, Thomas’s and the Lycee Francais Wix School are also highly regarded by parents. The Emmanuel School is also located nearby.
