This prime, central London location has attracted billions of pounds of private sector investment, meaning what was once a formerly mainly industrial area, has now been transformed through regeneration on an extraordinary scale making it bloom as a residential and commercial hub.
A fast-transforming district, Nine Elms boasts many incredible places to eat and drink where old London merges into the new - restaurants and bars stand where tanneries, waterworks, and leadworks once stood.
Nine Elms is home to the regenerated Battersea Power Station, which offers a whole host of chic riverside dining and bars, plus pop-up food markets and a cinema. A wide promenade traces the Thames river embankment, and stalls at the wholesale New Covent Garden Market are usually piled high with flowers and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Nine Elms is also home to the American Embassy and Brunswick House - the Georgian mansion (now encompassing a restaurant). It is usually host to the London Restaurant Festival and it has a whole host of great entertainment venues such as The Alchemist and The Battersea Barge, a floating venue hosting musical, comedy and cabaret entertainment.
The area is walking distance to the Houses of Parliament, Sloane Square, Tate Britain, Battersea Park, Vauxhall Park and the Kia Oval cricket ground. A new Northern Line extension will also take you less than 15 minutes to travel to the City and the West End in zone 1.
The area also has the option of the London River Taxi (Battersea Power Station Stop) which provides excellent transportation links. Additionally, Nine Elms also has easy access to top schools such as Newton Prep School in Battersea.
Its location and fantastic transport connections has made Nine Elms super accessible and a sought-after place to live, work, and visit.
