Welcome to Brentford

Situated on the banks of the River Thames and near the beautiful Kew Gardens, Brentford has a strong sense of community and plenty of entertainments.  The local town fair, Brentford Festival, has been an annual tradition since 1900 and is held in September.  With shops, banks and a post office in the area, Brentford is a practical choice for busy individuals.

  • Entertainment & nightlife

Brentford boasts entertainments for all ages, with the Watermans Art Centre hosting films, theatre, exhibitions and even interactive shows for children.  There is also the London Museum of Water & Steam, a small museum perfect for rainy afternoons.

For evening entertainment, why not head to one of Brentford’s bars or pubs?  The Globe, a well-respected pub with an emphasis on community, is a great place to unwind, with live music at the weekends.

  • Parks & recreation

In addition to an annual fair and the stunning Syon House (London residence of the Duke of Northumberland), Brentford is home to the beautiful Gunnersbury Park.  Brentford is perfect for those looking to get fit and active: The Tatler Award-winning Park Club hosts health and relaxation activities for families and provides a secure space for children to get involved in sports.

The children’s club, Ark in the Park, provides curriculum based education and development activities for children of 6 weeks upwards.

  • Restaurants & shopping

Brentford high street has a variety of shops and restaurants, with transport links ensuring that you are never far from good food.

If you fancy travelling a little, visit Sam’s Brasserie & Bar in Chiswick for a high-quality Sunday Lunch or evening drink.

The Sunday food market provides fresh, quality alternatives to the nearby supermarket and sells a range of street food for lunch on-the-go.  Regular stalls include The Coffee Traveller, La Stalla, Rubens Bakehouse and Marsh Farm, making the market the perfect destination for your weekly shop or just a few treats.  A children’s carousel often accompanies the market, to ensure your kids are entertained as well.

    Best place for Indian food

Conveniently located on Brentford High Street, the well-loved Sami’s Spice offers take away, delivery or eat in throughout the week.  It has been ranked in the top 120 of all London restaurants by Trip Advisor and boasts a loyal set of customers, many who visit weekly.
