Charity runs through the DNA of ChestertonsAnne Cuthbertson, Editor of The London Magazine
On Monday 26th November, Chestertons were awarded the Special Charity Award, at The London Magazine Club Awards 2018. These awards were hosted in celebration of the outstanding contribution of various CLEA agents to the capital, charity and industry.
This award was presented to us in recognition of our significant contributions to charity and initiatives that have made a real difference to people’s lives in London.
The judges praised Chestertons for the variety of fundraising and charitable work within the business, including work with St Mungo’s, Suited & Booted and Dogs Trust, as well as the generosity of our staff through the payroll giving scheme.
Anne Cuthbertson, Editor of The London Magazine, said:
Charity runs through the DNA of Chestertons and the sheer variety of opportunities made accessible to everyone in the business should be applauded. The generosity and commitment of Chestertons’ staff to charity is a credit to the industry.”
Tim Bates, Marketing Manager and member of our Charity Champions team, said:
We aim to differentiate ourselves from others, using our size and expanse across London to help improve and build better communities in which we work. As a company, we are focused on having a real impact and our involvement in communities goes well beyond simply helping people to find a place to live. We are therefore delighted to receive such award which recognises our commitment to making a difference.”
As well as supporting a number of institutions, we work with hundreds of different schools, charities, community groups and clubs to support causes and host numerous events every year.
The award was presented to us by Ian Homersham, former chairman of CLEA and founder of The London Magazine.
