Will I get a car?
Chestertons became the first large estate agent to switch all of its cars to no-emission electric cars. We have a full fleet of brand new BMW i3s which can be used by all sales and lettings offices.

Do I need to have sales experience?
No, we recruit both experienced and inexperienced salespeople, and you don’t need to have necessarily have to have worked in property before. In fact, some of our top employees are from non-property backgrounds and have learnt the trade from scratch with Chestertons.

We are looking for people with drive, ambition and potential and are confident that with our training, we can create superstars out of anyone with these characteristics.

How much could I earn?
Sales and lettings staff are paid a basic salary plus commission. We believe we have one of the most generous commissions structures in the industry as it is completely uncapped, meaning your earning potential is uncapped too!

What should I wear to interview?
First impressions are important in our business. Impress us by looking smart and professional and ready to join one of London’s most successful teams.

How can I prepare for my interview with Chestertons?
Working for Chestertons is not a walk in the park and our company is not for everyone: we give our staff a lot, but we expect a lot back.

What training is offered?
We investment in our employees’ careers and offer fantastic internal and external training across all departments of our business.
Chestertons staff can gain various qualifications such as ARLA and NAEA.

How quickly could I get promoted?
Hard work and consistent high performance do not go unnoticed or unrewarded. We always try and promote from within the business and when we see potential, we work with individuals to help them achieve their ambitions and reach their full potential. Most of our managers and directors started at Chestertons at a junior level and worked their way up through the ranks.

Are there any staff perks?

Is Chestertons a socially responsible company?
Chestertons is one of the most socially active and charitable agents out there and we support numerous charities, institutions, community groups and clubs across London.
Our charitable work is regularly recognised as being the best in the industry and we have won numerous awards for various initiatives including our joint ‘First Response’ project with homeless charity St Mungo’s; our annual Winter Coat Drive; our Payroll Giving scheme; and our company matching offer.
We encourage all staff to get involved and even give them a day off every year to undertake volunteering work.
