We are an established real estate business with over 20 years of property sales and investment experience in Costa del Sol (Spain).
Led by Jack Cheshire and managed by Jamie Buss, Chestertons Costa del Sol will be headquartered in Marbella with the duo planning to expand the business across the Costa del Sol region over the course of the next three years. Both Jack and Jamie’s backgrounds originate from London’s investment industry, Morgan Stanley Investment Bank and LGT Vestra respectively, and they have applied their wealth of experience successfully to the local property market over recent years.
With a long-established presence in Nerja, one of the most competitive real estate markets in the area, they, along with their team, are now looking forward to expanding across the region in collaboration with Chestertons, and representing the area´s most prestigious residential properties and new developments.

In recent years, the popularity of Malaga City has rocketed. The city has undergone significant redevelopment, in turn attracting further investment and allowing it to reinvent itself as a city that people want to visit and/or move to due to its array of beautiful architecture, museums (including the famous Picasso Museum), beaches, shops, bars/restaurants and many other attractions.
Transport links are improving all the time, with more destinations being reached by Malaga airport all the time, high speed trains reaching cities such as Seville and Madrid in just a few hours, and an extensive bus network reaching out to suburbia and beyond.
The port is ever evolving with its mix of shops, restaurants, bars, and regular events, helping to cater for not only the locals but the for those arriving into the port by some of the largest cruise ships in the world. Whilst not yet confirmed, talks are well under way to make further improvements to the port to allow for the mooring of mega yachts owned by the rich and famous, no doubt leading to even more investment in the city.
The city continues to undergo further redevelopment, and the challenge now is knowing where the next trendy, up-coming districts are to invest in... something that Chestertons Costa del Sol would be delighted to assist with.
Travelling west from Malaga, you soon reach the lively resorts of Torremolinos, Benalámadena, and Fuengirola, known for their beaches, marinas and nightlife. They all benefit from being easily accessible by train direct from Malaga airport.
The more traditional towns and villages of Mijas, Estepona and Benahavis have managed to retain their Andalusian charm despite their increase in popularity over recent years. Due to high end development, Benahavis is now home to some of the most exclusive and expensive properties in Spain.
The highest concentration of golf courses in Europe exists here, and due to the annual average of around 320 days of sunshine, you can enjoy playing golf all year round. If golf is not your thing, there are plenty of other sporting activities that you can take advantage of in the favourable Costa del Sol climate.
