Exciting off-plan developments and sought-after new homes

There are a number of fantastic new developments in London that will soon be completed and welcoming their first residents, and although most have sold out completely, Chestertons has a number of individual properties that have come back onto the market and are now available. here our Head of New Homes Sales, Archie Sykes, picks his selection of some of the best on the market right now:

Dollar Bay E14 – Q4 2016/Q1 2017. Dollar Bay is a Landmark Development by Mount Anvil in Canary Wharf located in a prime position on the South Dock with un-rivalled views of the Canary Wharf towers and Greenwich Peninsula. There are only a handful of units available all with duel aspect views on higher floors. The projected Capital growth in E14 is very strong over the next 5-10 years.

London Dock E1W – From Q1 2017. This is a prestigious scheme located on the old News International site in Wapping by the Berkeley Group. Conveniently located within walking distance of the City it offers a strong investment opportunity with good rental potential to local City workers.

Argo House NW6 – Q2 2016. This scheme located in popular Maida Vale is ideal for investors and owner occupiers and is due to complete over the next couple of months, with commute times to the West End in 15-20 minutes. Underground parking is also available.

Battersea Power Station SW8 – Q4 2016. The iconic London Landmark is starting to take shape, with phase 1 completing later this year. We have some exclusive re-sale units available in the first phase which are priced very competitively.

The Printworks SW9 - May 2016. Located close to Clapham and Vauxhall this development, completing this summer, is a refurbishment of an old printing factory, so the apartments benefit from high ceilings and large period windows. The available units are Studios and 1 beds and make an excellent buy to let option.

Royal Wharf E16 – Q3 2016. Royal Wharf is the re-generation of a stretch of the Thames, down by the Royal Docks in E16. At over 30 acres and around 3,000 homes, Royal Wharf will become its own mini town with parks, retail, commercial and leisure space as well as a school. It's a short walk from the DLR and will benefit from a new Crossrail station nearby which will offer journey times to Central London in 15 minutes.

Amberley Waterfront W9 – Completed. Stunning Penthouse apartment set along the Regent Canal in Little Venice, within easy walking distance to Paddington, which will benefit from being on the Crossrail in 2018.
