Chestertons’ Camden office has seen buyer interest increase, with offers on properties up by 17% in the first seven months, compared to the same period last year, and viewings up 26%.
“With our key performance indicators (i.e. applicants registering, viewings, offers and agreed sales) up year on year, Chestertons Camden seem to be outperforming the market. I encourage sellers to get in touch if they would like to discuss the market further or would like an up-to-date appraisal.” – Emlyn Parks, Camden Sales Manager.
The Camden lettings market has been more active so far this year, with a 28% increase in tenant registrations and a 42% increase in offers on properties within the first seven months of the year!
“The increase in tenant demand this year, combined with higher yields, is good news for landlords. The key to securing lets in the current market where tenants have a good choice of properties is setting rents at an appropriate level ensuring properties are in good condition and well presented. We would be happy to discuss both aspects with landlords on an informal basis” – Chaz Claase, Camden Lettings Manager.
